    Hi,
I’m a Santa Cruz resident, but not in District 6. (By the way are you familiar with the Hugh Masakela song “District 6”? – maybe a good theme song for a gathering). I have been active on housing and transportation issues. I have a professional background in planning and in energy policy and engineering. I am happy to share resources. I will be contacting you separately to invite you to do a radio interview on KSQD. I am making a campaign donation. Thank you for entering the race.

Thank you for stepping up to help breakup the Big Real Estate funded City council— all 7 are endorsed and very well funded by Santa Cruz Together. This group tried to stop a tiny transfer tax that funds housing for homeless in most communities across California. Greed Be Gone!!

Hi Gabriella, I met you at the post office on Wednesday. I’m sorry I wasn’t able to make the dancing that night. That’s kind of bedtime for me at 88! But I hope to come one of these days. I do have an idea regarding how some of your friends might be interested in learning more about the next important steps in protecting the critical wetland area in San Lorenzo Park, which is now very degraded. Feel free to reach out to me about that. I’m happy to try my hand at painting yard signs. I live in el rio mobile home park downtown and the common room has large tables which are good for those kinds of projects. Wishing you great luck on your campaign!

I loved meeting you! I had an intuitive sense that you would be an excellent council member – both visionary and good at connecting with people. That’s the best!
